Proximity sensing functionality makes the power button glow brighter as your hand approaches the Quick Ball. Opening the case raises the platform the Quick Ball sits on so it can be used as a display. The nameplate on the case is also touch sensitive, activating a light in the platform that can switch to between different colors and patterns, illuminating the Quick Ball from below.
